Al Jewer
Al Jewer is a business owner, computer programmer and musician.
As President of Wisconsin Makers, Inc, he helps guide its’ vision,
establishing and helping to develop new programs and community outreach.
He teaches computer programming courses at Wisconsin Makers in Whitewater, WI.
He is also dedicated to maintaining and repairing the various computers and machines there.
He has been involved at Wisconsin Makers for many years, almost since it’s founding.
Ron Binning
Ron Binning is a 1970 UW-Whitewater graduate. He’s been in the insurance business since then, owning his own Independent Insurance Agency (Binning & Dickens Insurance) here in Whitewater from 1983 to 2012. He then sold the agency to Mike Dickens and still works there to this day. Married to Marilyn, he has a blended family with four kids and seven grandkids. Over the years he’s been involved with Odyssey of the Mind and Destination Imagination, both school sponsored creative thinking/problem solving competitions for grade school through high school kids. He lives in Whitewater, loves to golf and travel and has been to all 50 states and much of Europe.
Chris Spangler
Christine Blumer Spangler serves as secretary of Wisconsin Makers, Inc.
She is a writer and retired editor of the Daily Jefferson County Union.
She studied at UW Madison and became a writer and editor of several online publications.
As a dedicated member of Wisconsin Makers, she maintains our Facebook page and
posts announcements and promotions of our events.
Kent Taylor
Kent Taylor serves as Facility Manager for Wisconsin Makers, inc.
He is a veteran, having served as an avionic tech in the Air Force.
As a team member of Wisconsin Makers, he brings his knowledge and dedication to help maintain our infrastructure.
His experience in IT technology has helped build out and maintain our network infrastructure and AV installation.
He also helps out with our events and maintains our building HVAC and other systems.
